If an officer at the jail tells an trustee that he has a cigarette for them when they go to the farm, is that considered contraband? If so is that entrapment?

It would only be entrapment if the officer then tried to get you in trouble after you took the cigarette. Is it contraband? Maybe, but come on, give the officer a break, it sounds like he was just being cool which is rare.
